Scholars' Circle

What is the Scholars' Circle?

The Scholars' Circle is a student leadership team dedicated to engagement, events, and promotions across programs. We aim to:

• Advocate on behalf of Western Scholars & Scholar's Electives
• Raise awareness of our program
• Build a strong network of like-minded individuals
• Provide resources for the unique student body
• Give back to the community
• Advocate on behalf of Western Scholars & Scholar's Electives

In addition to this, we collaborate with multiple pillars associated with Scholars’ Programs to foster cohesion and unity, including Scholar’s Electives Connectors, Western Student Research Conference, and Scholars’ Publications.

• Host events that support well-being, personal growth, and academic success
• Offer insights into life after the program through alumni panels and career-focused initiatives
• Gather and respond to student feedback to guide advocacy and improve program sustainability
• Networking opportunities with peers, alumni, and faculty

• Strengthen connections between Scholar’s Electives and Western Scholars students through shared initiatives
